Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy describes conduct that is not permitted on CommonLine. We may suspend or terminate service for violations, including to protect the service and its users from fraud or abuse.
Prohibited conduct
- Using the service to harass, threaten, or defame any person.
- Autodialing, call blasting, or generating high-volume automated traffic without a legitimate purpose, which may constitute telephony fraud.
- Using the service for illegal activity or in violation of any law.
- Attempting to bypass limits, evade billing, or provision numbers in ways that abuse the service.
- Reselling the service or numbers except through authorized plans.
Telephony integrity
We may investigate unusual call patterns, unexpected spending, or provisioning behavior. If we suspect fraud or abuse, we may suspend activity immediately to protect the organization and the network. Legitimate large gatherings are expected; the limit structure is designed around real communities, and we will work with organizations on fair usage.
